Prayer Quilt Ministry

Prayers & Squares is an Interfaith Outreach Ministry that combines the gift of prayer with a gift of a hand-tied quilt. Unlike many other organizations that make quilts for charitable purposes, the purpose of Prayers & Squares is not to make and distribute quilts, but to promote prayer through the use of quilts. A prayer quilt is a gift of love and prayer. It is an affirmation of our faith in God and our belief in God's power to comfort, strenghten and heal.

The quilters and sewers of Faith Presbyterian Church, Chapter #52 of Prayers & Squares International meet to make quilts on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 10:00am to 12:00pm in Room 3. Interested persons are welcome to join us at any time and no experience is necessary. Donations of 100%cotton fabric and other sewing items are welcome. Monetary gifts can be donated to the Deacons with a memo that it is for Prayers & Squares.
